Innosight Institute’s Healthcare Practice’s mission is to apply HBS Professor Clayton Christensen’s theories of disruptive innovation to develop and promote solutions to the problems of healthcare. The primary focus currently is the U.S. healthcare system, although the Practice also works on the problems confronting healthcare outside the U.S.

Christensen’s, Jerome Grossman’s, and Jason Hwang’s book, The Innovator’s Prescription: A Disruptive Solution to the Health-Care Crisis, which will be published by McGraw-Hill in October of 2008, is the intellectual basis for the Healthcare Practice.
